chillin'hmmm, its hot out! i've been working on the website i bought a domain name for and i am not making progress very fast. i'm avoiding going outdoors to remove stall mats from the floors of the stalls to level the floor, dry it out, put down some lime and put them back in. oh my achin back.
i judged an obstacle on an ACTHA trail course for a fundraising event for Maury Magic Riders on saturday and i got eaten up with chiggers. now i'm scratching.red bumps head to toe. It was a great event at Why Not Ranch at Duck River. A beautiful day of sunshine and fun.
i'm finished now with working for the Census so i will have some more time for farm stuff - after i get the tractor repaired. Last night there was a black snake in the nest boxes of the chickens. Nathaniel put on some gloves and got hold of it and put it in a bucket and we relocated Mr or Ms snake about a quarter mile down the creek. Maybe it wont be back for a few days. Ever watch a snake eat a chicken egg?
